21 Spartans Named to 2011 IFL All-Star Team

Spartans have 21 named to 2011 IFL All-Star team.

The Wauwatosa Spartans Football Club is well-represented on the 2011 IFL All-Star team. This year’s team was selected by a panel of coaches and team representatives in both the American and National Conferences from a list of nominees submitted by respective teams. In all, the Spartans had 21 players honored. A full listing is as follows:

1st Team:  Tony Henner – quarterback

2nd Team: Bobby Windom – running back

1st Team: Michael Montoya – fullback

1st Team: Timmy Beuth – tight end

1st Team: Raymon Porchia – wide receiver

1st Team: Greg Rebella – wide receiver

1st Team: Luke Kujath – offensive tackle

1st Team: John Phillips – center

1st Team: Bobby Langston: offensive tackle

1st Team: Joe Flick – defensive end

2nd Team: Justin Morrow – defensive end

2nd Team: Brian Witt – defensive tackle

1st Team: Darrell Jack – linebacker

1st Team: Eric Zilisch – linebacker

2nd Team: Jeremiah Fendrick – linebacker

2nd Team: Blake Rathkamp – linebacker

1st Team: Nate Heard – cornerback

1st Team: David Earl – cornerback

Alternate: Bob LaPlante: safety

Alternate: Curtis Beals: safety

1st Team: Charlie Henke: kicker/punter

The 2011 All-Star Game was played at Hart Park in Wauwatosa on September 24th, and was won by the AFC All-Stars.
